I ordered the 1 inch spacers off of e-bay .I had to cut about a 1/2 inch off of the studs to but them on. They worked great .I have about 1 3/8 inch of clearance now between the tire and bed side .

Got nothing done in the last week .Except for ordering parts. When I sold the boat the 454 came in the guy payed me through Paypal. So I have been ordering parts with the money. I ordered the wiring harness, proportioning valve, residual valves and turn signal switch. . so now I have no excuses for not working on it.

I got my wiring harness off of the UPS truck the other day . It is a big pile of spaghetti . hopefully I will have more pic to show after tomorrows work. Here is a pic of the harness I think I bought to large of a harness. It has 15 fuses and
21 circuits .It is a Keep It Clean harness.

Well I didn't get as much as I had hoped done. But I did make a little head way .I got the frame around the inside of the box done and bolted in then but some center braces down to the frame to hold the weight of the gas tank when it is full .Then I made a templet and cut out the front piece of tin. I then cut and welded up the mount for the tank. The tank and tin are not fastened down in the pictures. I need to remove them to mount the fuel pump and filter. I am thinking about using some large flat head self tappers.

I am going to put a piano hinge in then another panel that will be able to be Lifted .So I can have access to the battery and air shocks.

The tank is off of an old generator I had to put two patches on the bottom. The one patch was right in the outer seam. I took a piece of hard wood and cut it in the shape of the tank side . I then routered a recess in it so I could put the indent in it. I nailed a piece of 18 ga. to it and used a rounded over air chisel to put the channel into it .

Great news

Great news .Yesterday I was in the basement looking for some stuff. An I found the title to the rat rod. So now I don't have to jump through all of the hoops to get a new one.

Had just a few minutes to work on the truck today . did not get much done except for the placement of parts. I have sone questions for you guys. I value your opinions. I think I have the radiator where I want it. But I would like you opinion on the lights. Which ones look better ? The smaller or larger ones.

Nice work on the tank...truck is lookin good! My vote would be for the longer bucket lights...they just look older to me..
