Ratty fj40 Land Cruiser clustertruck....

Hey!

I dont know how well this thing is gonna be received on here and I havent seen many import 4x4 on this site but its pretty ratty so I thought Id post it up... Any advice or suggestions are welcome.

Im a 4x4 guy and more specifically a toyota/land cruiser enthusiast. I currently own and wheel an 85 fj60 with a ram jet 350 on one ton axles and 40" tires. Its a great truck but its too perfect looking with its shiny paint and whatnot. I swore that the next one would be ugly as sin. Plan is to rat it out but still keep it off road friendly (gears/lockers/winch/tube work etc.)

So.... I bought a stock 1969 fj40 land cruiser with a snow plow last january and started hacking away at it.

The specs:

69 fj 40
73ish 4.2L toyota straight six/4spd/toy t case.
1986 fj60 f/r axles
86 fj60 steering box/tilt column
62 chev nova ps pump/custom pulley
Front axle moved forward 5"/rear moved back 3"
Homebrew 4' long, johnny jointed ford radius arms in front w heap grand cherokeet 4" lift coils in the front
86 fj60 outboarded and sprung over leaf springs in the rear/homebrew ladder bar
Boxed frame
1/8" steel exterior tub panels
Homebrew tail light buckets
80's retro buckshot mud tires (36") on steel wagon wheels
