Nothing photo worthy,I'm still working on patching all the pie cuts up. I really need to kick it in gear,so I can get to working on my frame.

Well thank you ! I am very pleased with the look the car has taken on with the chop. I want to suicide my doors but am worried it may make it difficult to get in and out of the back seat. Does anyone have any experience with a chopped car with suicide doors ? Or am I just over thinking it ?

I agree it would be cool. I just wish I could have a close in person look'see at a suicide doors 2 door sedan.

Do it . Wouldn't be any different than a 33-34 Ford 2 dr sedan. They had suicide doors. You chop isn't that radical to affect getting in the back seat.
Like the strips/pie cuts. Thats the way I was taught to chop a top many years ago.
looking great.
Torchie.

Tonight I figured I would give the chop a rest and start my doors.I am hoping that by skipping around a little the list of must do 's I can avoid getting burnt out on any one project, since I will see more progress per day....at least that's what I'm gonna keep telling myself.so I have my driver skin roughed in,ended up taking about 3" out of the length.

Well thank you very much ! Not bad for flux core eh ? [cl It will need a little slapper work but it should be ok.

At first I wanted to do a built 327 and 6 speed manual, but I have decided to do a ls 6.0 with ls3 heads nice cam and all the other typical bolts ons.it's the easiest way to 450-500 hp/tq I can think of.then a built 4l80 and 8.8 rear.

Although I planned to get the driver side of the body closed up,I didn't. I did however get the passenger door sectioned and roughed in,so I am glad progress was made.I have a schedule set for myself that says I need to have the door skins finished, and the chop totally completed by Thursday when I go to bed. Then I hope to get started on the frame as well as adding structure to the body, and doors where there once was wood....this is all planned to be completed by Sunday when I go to sleep. Comments,Questions,or Suggestions welcome !

I finished up the chop tonight ! A little hammer,a little dolly, some slapper and slot of mud and maybe it will look ok....next I have to finish the doors and start building the skeleton for them and the body. Maybe then I can get my frame built [;)
