Hey guys! It's been a while but I had to share this and get some ideas.
So I bought this mustang off my neighbor with a title for $20.
What should I do with it??
I am not a ford guy by any stretch of the imagination but the price was right. Posi rear end in it.
I'm looking for ideas maybe to build it or sell it and forget it.

How bad would purists hate me if I dropped in my 250 inline and a 5 speed?!

Any input is welcome!

Sorry to say it's not a mustang. It is but it's not a real mustang. Mustangs quit being mustangs after 73 jmo. But still not bad for $20

Those wheels look like the only thing worth much. If it's a 8.8 posi, good, but if it's a 7.5 it's not worth much. Even if it's a 8.8 you're going to have to change axles to get a 5 lug pattern. The rest, well if somebody needed Fox parts you might make a buck or two. For sure worth $20, the hull will bring more than that for scrap I figure. But then again, some Fox body nut might want it to restore since it's a vert. I had a Fox vert several years ago, 4cyl auto, I hated that car. Looked good with GT wheels and tail lights, but was probably one of the most uncomfortable cars I've ever owned.

It looks like the start of a drag car to me. ....or a land speed car. Maybe cut the windshield completely off along the lines of this....

Flipper, I'm thinking something along those lines maybe. It's titled so I could put it on the street whatever it ends up to be. A friend of mine parted it out and this is what's left, not sure if a mustang nut would want it or not. I dont have many mustang friends. Lol
It's way too new for my interest. I may toy with making body panels and making it into something else? Like a mutated 60s custom? Hmmm.

That's what Ive been thinking lately. I have an old fiberglass boat with fins and I was contemplating making it into a body. I also have just thought of reskinning it into a custom lead sled sort of car. I like the shoebox!!
