I have seen a couple Chevy Elcos that some one put a Poncho front sheet metal on. Always looks great.
A lot like what you show DR, but with a Chevy butt.:eek: [ddd

I'll bet a pumpkin pie, that's a Canadian Pontiac front end.

Canadian Pontiacs from '58 - '72 were built on the Chevrolet platform.... so, a Canadian Pontiac front end will literally bolt on to the Biscayne, Bel Air, Impala and obviously, the El Camino.

American Pontiacs are wider and longer than full size Chevrolets... so, major surgery is required to achieve the El Pontrolet.
