1951 Ford F1 Rat This truck was a street rod until it was burnt to a crisp it even melted the valve covers if it could melt it did.[ddd Now it has a SB chevy Auto trany Power brakes and steering IFS (Mustang II) 4Link rear sup. 3:91 gears Runs and Drive like a new one. It all about the FUN. [ddev

This was how my car looked the day i got it home. picked it up on craigslist, drove it home about 45 miles,it was all registered but did'nt have any lights or electrical at all. battery was on the floorboard was hotwired runnin off the battery.i tore the whole car down to the bare frame, redid front and rear end, swapped out the automatic to muncie 4 speed, changed the body and put in a painless wire harness. alot of other stuff got done . car had a 29 ford title when i got it and was registered that was the main reason i bought it.

Not done yet. .....but it will eventually be a vintage styled boattail speedster.

Those covers you can get for any of the popular rear axles. They stiffen the bearings inside with the two bolts on the girdle . Supposed to increase strength by 30%.

light bulb looks neat, standard household wiring, with 12 volt bulb, available lots of places, like a portable drop light.
