Lost track of the ball for a while and got some work done on the 49 Chevy . Then it got to hot(100 plus days) so decided to get the paint room usable finished insulated it and paneling it and put in ac so back to the rat next weekend

really liking your build are those noxious customs bat wings? I`m going the same route pads are cut off and the wings are just tacked. my front axle came off of a 50s ford but I think it didnt start there cause I have no steering arm/draglink mount just the tie rod mounts. Did you flip you axle backward to put the tie rod in front? any pictures of your mounted gear box?

Yes the bat wings are from Noxious customs.
The axle is 49 F1 ford axle
The spindles had the arms heated and bent to the front, no room for the drag link at the rear of the axle.

Started working on it again this weekend a lot nicer with the ac on(70 deg in room 107 out side).

Now has a Cadillac 372 mill with turbo 400 trans. Mounts are done need to pull it back out and rebuild the motor this week end.

Will be working on the gear box in a couple of week not sure which one I will use I have the F-1 box and column and also a PS box. I am leaning to the PS box, creacher comforts are nice Ac, PS, Auto trans, Power windows (old age I guess )

here whats been keeping me busy the yellow one is 53 customline with 472 cad ,4wheel disc, 9"rear

the second one a 63 dart (in storage since 93) followed me home next weekend it get all the brakes (master cly, wheel cly, lines, and drums), fuel system( tank, sending unit ,fuel pump, and carb) ,and tune up done & the new tires then I will drive it as a shop truck till some one comes up with $3000

Last 3 are 67 Chevelle customers car ZZ502 crate motor 4 speed paint and chaise work should be gone on Monday

The rat rod will restart in December( took a deposit on in does not look like the new owner can come up with the rest)

this one needs a new home 3" chop started buy some one else has title
