Hey guys, I have an up shifting problem with my C4. I can manualy put it in 2nd and 1st, but in drive it stays in 1st and wont up shift. I have vac to the modual. What gives here. Thanks Curt

Puts Nitro on his Cheerios
Check your fluid.A C4's weak point is the fluid passages are too small and if your not dead on full they won't shift correctly.

Oh and make sure your pulling the right vac.I think you want manifold not carb.

I bought a Mustang once that had the same problem.
I started not to buy it, but the guy said he changed the filter and put Dextron fluid in it.
I said nothing as I paid him. I towed it home and changed out the fluid and filter with type F fluid.
It worked perfect.
Not saying that's your problem though, this just reminded me of that story.
