Old member here, lost the path for a while due to divorce and all that, sat around for a year doing nothing but mope.

Anyway, back into it now, have a lovely girlfriend and an interesting rod project now.

It is one of the earliest ‘glass Jago t buckets to be built in the UK and was first on the road in’85. It was undergoing an overhaul when I got it, as a Roth style 60s show car, but after a lot of thinking I am going in my own direction.

Motor is a 3.0 litre V6, which will be ample for my purposes.......said nobody, ever......

Build regulations are exert tightening in the U.K. but this has fully legit papers, so at some time in the future it may well get a bigger motor.

This is where I think I am heading with it, but without the tall and ‘knees in face’ seating position.

Thanks guys. :)

It is hard to believe how exciting and interesting life has become once again. One cannot survive without ones mojo.

Just ask Austin Powers....:D
Good to have you back. I was always a fan of the Roth "Tweety Pie" T bucket. No bed on the back and a real short wheel base.
Keep us posted.

Glad you are back. Oddly enough, I took a very similar path....and once I got things back on track I realized that I've never been happier or would want to change a thing.

It has shocked me to the core how quickly life can change. I went from happily retired, living in paradise in the Philippines, to single, relatively broke and living in a duplex in England, in the space of a few months. [S

But I still have my old workshop in England.

I’ve been building a twin brake pedal system the last few days, to go in behind the dash area, seems to be okay. I didn’t want master cylinders poking out into the engine bay, some day there may be no room there..... ;)

Need to make a matching throttle pedal too.

It is just tacked together to see how it all fits. I have a new 180 amp mig welder on the way, R-tech.

Good lookin setup
Not ever been through a divorce but, have been jerked out of being comfortably on my way to retirement and had the rug pulled out from under me. Not any fun.

They say the best way to get over heartache is get a new heart throb...

That seems to be the way it is working. This one is not really new, she was one of my first ever girlfriends, 38 years ago, but we have always been close and kept in touch one way or another ever since. :D
