So, one of my cousins decided to take one of the (forbidden) Cadillacs for a rip past his high school and his older brother described the event as this...

"Hal (then under age) comes tearing down 27th, trailing tire smoke, hammer down and blows by the school at terminal velocity... five thousand pounds of glass and steel went by like a comet... fast as it was, I could see Hal had the wheel in one hand and a twister in the other."

No high jack here sir!!!

This is why we share this stuff. The stories are what make this fun!!!!

Here is a little update video on the ego boost van and our first drive-in tank

I will be ordering an air ride kit for this monster asap!!

Also considering what wheels to run. Was thinking a set of solid detroit steel wheels. But I'm also looking at these

The Manhattan speaks Caddy to me more than the one on the bottom. Similar to some 16" original hubcaps I have hanging on the wall.

The thing about a '39 Ford pick-up is that that ugly grille kinda' grows on ya' after a while.

Not taking anything too seriously.

Looks like Raceline makes some cool wheels! Either would give it a different look, I like the Classico but the Manhattan has some unique lines too. I like Detroit Steel Wheels but they're so plain, on a boat like this the wheels you posted would give it much-needed class. IMO

Exhibit A

When you don't know what you're doing, it's best to do it quickly.

And when Iím gone, you can call me foolish but hopefully not boring. I will have lived.

The more I learn about women, the more I like my car.

No it is not a 68. I originally thought it was. I just got the paperwork for it and it is a 66. 68 has a different body line in the hood above the grill

I am torn between the wheels. I think either one would look really good. I do like the Classico because it does look more like the original hubcaps. Not going to go overly large with them the smallest they make in those is an 18 so that's probably what I will run. We are a ways off ordering any wheels for itself I have time

That's odd, every 1966 photo I found has a different window line. 67 and 68 seem to have that window line. Weird.
