Default It Was Fun

Back in 2011 we had a Poetry Contest. Had good participation. I reread the poem yesterday and enjoyed them. Got some good laughs. Thinking of running another poetry contest when I get back from Florida in mid-Feb.

Here's the thread.

I've got some interesting prizes.

What do you think? Should we give it a go?

I decided to build myself a chassis
In my mind it looked rather classy
My friends came over and said what the hell
That thing looks like it will kill
As time went by it got better
Now they all holler and want to to see me getter

I'm stuck on "rhymes with Nantucket", but I'll try!

PSA: I'm calling joedoh and Torchie out...

"There was a young lady from Niger. Who rode on the back of a tiger".....

Let me think about it.

Hard to come up with an alternative "Nantucket" limerick.

There was a farmer from Nantucket
Who had a rusty T Bucket
While cruising one day
He saw a chicken in the hay
So he had to stop and pluck it

Here's one of the possible prizes: A vintage Lava Lamp, man.
