Beauty

"Head turn" special. Beautiful job.

The swoop of the front wheel arches is great.

Thanks guys!! Its turning out better than expected!

The wheels are Detroit steel 20x8 and 20x11. Really nice stuff, well made! They have a small hub cap to cover the lug nuts

Thanks guys, we should have it going up and down on its own in the next week or so. I got to get the tanks mounted and the compressors, along with the battery and all the lines. Getting closer to blowing it apart for Powder Coating. Here's a short video of the progress it took us to get where it is now

More small progress, tank is mounted, compressor rack is built and battery is installed. I will build the bottom plate for the compressor rack tonight and bolt those down. Thursday night I will get cranking on the bed floor structure then it will be running air lines!

Is that a gel battery???

It's a dry cell so it can be mounted any way but vertical! It has really good discharge rates and is a deep cycle. So if you run the pumps with out the truck running it will handle it with ease.

Bed floor is almost done! Also got the wheels back!!!!

wheels look good!

whats your flat tire plan?

What do you mean? Changing a flat or if you get a flat while moving? There is no bump stop on the front in this pic. It is pushed up farther than normal. It should Have clearance to get a flat an not scrape down the road

I have no words! I was absolutely against this body style truck until now. It has really grown on me!!!

changing a flat is what I was thinking of. I had 22x10 with 305s on a bagged/bodied 65 chevy truck and the rim was half tucked at full lift. it needed a super high lift jack, and even then shimmying the big wheel out between the bed and the axle was miserable. we thought of pinning the bed mounts and ended up hinging/tilting the bed.
