Here is a hot rod coupe i started on.. Chopped it 3 inches and channeled it 3.. It will have a trunk deck unlike my previous builds and still have the 59 impala dash.. Custom frame.. Its coming along
will be a lot higher off the ground and not chopped as much by far as my others..

I am not a professional and dont claim to be.. i dont build rat rods for customers.. we are just a couple of guys having fun building rat rods in a garage.

Sinner,
What is the wheelbase of this car?

Thanks in advance,
Beercan

Finally got it out today and the wheel base is 105 1/2 center to center
I think the Harley Quinn coupe was 106 center to center so i guess thats the wheel base we like because we didnt try to make them the same.. Here is finally some good pics of it..

Also this car is only mocked up it still has to be completely disassembled and final welding needs to be done over the entire car..

Nice work (and also on the previous), I just want to know where you keep finding those dashes?

Believe it or not swap meets!
I just bought one with all gauges and radio at the Marion Co swap meet in Indy last weekend for 150 bucks.
Anytime i come across one i buy it even if it costs me 400 bucks

Nice looking rides. I think I will like this one the best. [P

On a side note: Uncle sam might not agree with you on the "no Business" part. If you have a website, advertise products, and say things like "To seperate our brand name" he will say you DO have a business and will want his cut of the profits. You might run into a liability issue with a past buyer if he has an issue with one of your cars. The court will say you do have a business. Up here in NH you are not allowed to sell more than 5 cars a year without a dealers license.

This isn't a bash on you at all, just some life experience being passed along. I say if you are turning out a nice product like you are then just reach down, grab a hold of some stones and open a shop. Looks like you would do well. Throw in excellent customer service and you are there. Just my $.02
