Has anyone been successful in converting an 8 lug ( ’86 f250 rat rod) to accept a 10 lug tractor trailer wheel? I need to change my 4:10 rear end ratio and this would seem to be the best/cheapest?/coolest solution. The billet adaptors are very pricey.

i was thinking them adapters are pretty high... but ive seen a big ole one ton with 22s on it and I dont think he will ever ware them down. spikes sticking out and aluminum wheels .. it looked good

Why? Have you priced 22.5 tires lately? A cheap import is over $300. Don't think you'd be saving any money.............

The people who have done it successfully purchased the pricey adaptors, the pricey wheels and the pricey tires. Not sure what you're asking here.

If it was cheap and easy everyone would do it...
