Hello I am building a 27 fiberglass roadster on a 31 frame. I am close to mounting the body, but have a question about reinforcing the body where the windshield post mount. What is the common practice here ? I want to make a horseshoe sub frame mounted to the frame to hang the steering from I was wondering if there is a way to connect this to the body at the windshield mount attachment points to tie it all in. This is my first glass rod so all kind of new to me. Thanks

pics are useful to see what you are working with, many people here are good at fabbing so someone should be able to help.

my "glass '29 had a steel frame built into the windshield area from the factory.

Later

here some ideas...
our draconian laws here allow this full body armour to be hidden inside the fiber T shell.. guess for safetys sake... but is a bit over the top.. good for ideas though
