I plan to do some ignition tune up and upgrades soon and I noticed the "corrected" (thats what they call it) distributor cap by accel. It's set-up so the spark plug wires all come off of it nice and straight without having to cross over the top of the cap or around, etc. Has anyone here tried it before? I don't want to drop $60 on a cap that wont work that well but if it works comparable to a regular cap and cleans up the look of my dist. then i'm all for it. Let me know what you guys think. (i tired to find a link but couldn't find it for some reason, if you guys don't know what i'm talking about i'll pull it tonight via the pn and show it to you)

Joe,
Before you drop 60$ on one of those, do some research first. I checked on them several years ago and was told (by my local speedshop) they were no good. Like I said, research it first.

I installed one of these type caps on my ’32 (ZZ4 crate motor) a few years ago.
Don’t think it was from Accel though, seems like it was from some small parts place that advertised in Street Rodder.
Didn’t have any problems and it sure cleans up the look of the plug wires.
If you want I can see if I can find the company again.

that would be sweet if you don't mind. i don't have anything against accel per say but they arn't my top choice for ignition components.

Thats the company.
Here is the best picture I could find of the one I had on my Deuce.
You can kinda see it behind the air cleaner. As you can see they really clean things up.

Very clean engine Jeff. I've seen those caps too, and you are right, they do get rid of the tangle on top of the cap. I might do one too, now that I see how nice they look.
