Hey guys I have a question about my transmission mount. I just bought this any I believe I can get it finished. My question is about the trans mount that is currently on the car. It looks like he took 1 inch square tubing and went across where the original crossmember was. He bolted it up through the old crossmember with 2 bolts on one side and 1 bolt on the other. I tried to take some pics... What do ya guys think? OK? or sketchy?

Looks larger than 1" tubing to me, what size are the bolts? Are there sleeves inside the tubing to prevent it from crushing when trying to torque the bolts? They will not torque properly if there are not.

I think two bolts a side would be fine if they are properly sized, and graded, and the wall thickness on that tubing should be at least 1/8"... if you feel like you need more strength you can tack weld a piece on the front/back side for rigidity as well..
