1934 sedan

I have posted other threads on the sedan. I'll post a few early pics of the build. The car is all owner built with very low budget. The top is chopped 2 1/2" and the body has been chopped 4 1/2". It has a 1958 332 Ford engine(first FE=390).It has a ford truck rear end and front brakes. 16" wheels with 1942 hubcaps and coker 6.00 16 front and 7.50 16 on rear. I made the frame and the zoomies. It has a 1918 10 gallon gas tank. It'll have 1928 head lights and tail lights. It has a 1939 chevy radiator with a late model 2 speed fan. I've been on this project a little over a year so it won't be long now! Can't wait!

Grill

Thanks Mobart! Took a while to figure out the grill location. I've made the grill adjustable, with about an inch up or down and in or out. Trying to keep everything older than the 58 engine but with the angle of the grill I figured I better use an Explorer fan. The shroud fit almost perfectly with some minor trimming plus it's 2 speed which will help up long hills and cruising town. Pitching the neck up on the grill now to be flat with the cowl.

Shifter?

Does anyone have a clue what this shifter is and what it came in? I think it's an after market but I'm not sure. There's no markings on it anywhere. I made the cable bracket on the back and the shift cam for a Ford-o-matic. The knob pulls down instaed of the tee pulling up. Thanks for any feed back!

Dashing!

Here are some shots of my dash. I had to replace the passenger side outer edge, door hinge and latch.

1934lowboy,

I would put money on your shifter being a factory console shifter from a late 60's or early 70's Oldsmobile such as the 71 Cutlass shown below.....

Shifter?

Thanks alot Gastrick! That's definately the shifter in my car. I knew someone could help.

Good job on the shifter Gastrick. [cl But I figure someday, somethings gonna stump you, I just don't know what it will be though!:D:D......CR

Caps and bands

Got my hubs caps and beauty bands. Here's a few pics of them. They are 1942 car caps. I will be painting the Ford script black.
