Could someone tell me if a 46 ford pu has a flat windshield. It seems I read that somewhere.

I guess I'm not sure of your question... the glass is flat, but two piece and V'd like OI mentioned.
Flat one piece glass started in 48 I believe on the ford PU.

36 and back they were completely flat
37 to 47 Ford pickup windshields were split and V shaped
48 to 52 Ford pickups had a completely flat windshield
In 53 on, they were curved

That looks like a two piece windsheild, just the divider bar is missing in the pic. If you will notice, it has the dual body line bumps just below the window on the door just like the first pic above. /\
That truck has been on CL a good while, surprised it hasn't sold yet, looks to be a good deal. Only about 35 miles from me, but I've got enough on my plate right now!

It's a '46 and it will take two pieces of flat glass for a windshield. You should offer the guy more than $900, though, as it is worth a way, way more than that. Grab this truck.
