Here's a little good news for any of you Saskatchewan Rat/Hot Rodders. In our wonderful province to licence a vehicle as vintage, you only get $800. of insurance for the $73. yearly fee. You can license it with a normal plate and insure it for any reasonable sum you can prove. So if you say it's worth 30k you have to be ready with receipts and paperwork to back it up or your pouched. This comes with a price tag of about $1000.00 There is an insurance broker in Saskatoon that has worked real hard with the Gooberment and brought Hagerty ins. to save us. I went through the application process on my Essex, have it insurred for $15k, with roadside assistance for $326. a year. It's $65. less with out the roadside. And the best thing is there is no appraisal needed.
