A couple more old one's

hey i was wondering if ya mind sharing you frame measurements, i am fixin to start mine and thats the look on the frame hieght i want to use? if ya dont mind? toatl length kick up height location measurement of kick ups!. i am going to be using the same cab i just cant take it off the truck yet, just needing something to go by as far as measurements got to build the chassis wioth out the cab!

You sure its a little long...., But who cares (see below)

2x4x3/16
Wheel base 134"
Front Z 7"
Rear Z 17"
Total frame Length 150"
28" in Front width
40" in Rear width
I just followed the body mount holes, they bolt and are tapped straight into the top of the frame from the floor... extra 1" added for the threads. If you have any more questions let me know

thanks what lentgh is ya bed! i want mine to be 3 foot
i was figuring on 9 in z in the front but i am glad i saw this imight have been to low
yourrs doesnt look 150, i had mine figured at 131 , real short in the back, my springs on the rear are only 25 inches long so i can bob it off
oh it just dawned on me
your using 2x4 iam using 2x3 so 9 inches would be right
7inches between the rails right? between the bottom of the top rail and the top of the bottom rail right?

2x4x3/16
Wheel base 134"
Front Z 7"
Rear Z 17"
Total frame Length 150"
28" in Front width
40" in Rear width

The bed is 66", and narrowed 5". I was trying to keep it all within paportions with the hood. It was a regular 73-87 chevy bed modified. On the frame I'm also doing 60' not 45', so I cut each piece at 30'. If you notice the front upper cut is right at the firewall, and the rear starts at 8" past the rear of the cab.

No Problem, Should have the brake and fuel lines ran in the next couple of weeks. Then body back off for stripping and some kinda of paint? And then some not so... final touches! Driving first, then chop, chop!

Looks good!

Those last pictures from yesterday, two of them show the steering wheel and master cylinders on the right side. Is it right hand drive? or the pictures just reversed?

Thanks for the update. Wondered what had happened to the build.
