Don't want to spend a lot of money for a normal shifter and am interested in making a cheap one myself! Thanks in advance! Working on TH350! [;)

I've taken junk yard floor shifters and modified the detents to fit whatever it was going in

I've done some customizing on most of them I've put in. Use the bracket off what ever works and make the "stick" whatever you want. My 31 has a B&M ratchet shifter base with a 1959 HD kickstand for a stick. Then I took the "T" handle off it and tapped that on a cheap racing shifter from Speedway and that shifts my 83 C-10.

A coupe friends of mine made theirs out of park brake levers.

some of the 70's camaro and trans ams had his and hers shifters. when you put it in low see if the handle will lean to the right. used to grab them and the hardware cheap then build a box for it.
