Welding gloves

I've had a few pair of welding gloves over the years, never know what happens to them. Most of the time if I need a glove, I'll just grab a pair of white mule or something like that. Work for welding and handling sharp or warm things.
I've bought some of those mechanix gloves in the past, they were OK, but wore out too fast. As easy as my skin scrapes and cuts anymore, I try to put on gloves if I'm doing serious wrench pulling, we all know that feeling when a wrench slips and you hit the frame with the back of your hand. I can't hardly wear gloves though if I'm starting nuts or bolts, or working in a confined area, probably where I need them most. Got to do those jobs barehanded. I usually end up looking like I've been in a knife fight after working on a modern car, the very reason I will no longer work on FWD stuff, just too small for my hands to get in there.
