looks good. I forgot about your 46 you did. Saw your Avitar and had to go look it up again. If the roadster is anything like the truck it should be sweet![P

It looks like a cut down truck cab to me. The sides of the cowl look stock, but the bottoms have been cut away probably because they curved up as most early truck cabs did. I assume you will fab lower cowl pieces that will go straight out to meet the bottom of the new firewall. The gas filler hole is opposite of my GMC so that's probably not it. It looks narrow so I'd think it's pre '47 or so, unless you narrowed it. Am I close? Whatever it is looks cool and has me thinking. [S

Mike, you almost nailed it.......Its a 48 dodge truck cab that has been narrowed and cut down to look as a bucket. I made a new dash and cowel section along with firewall. I really liked the way the bottom of cowel swooped foward so I left it. I know its been done before making a truck cab into a bucket, but the ones I have seen all just look as if they just cut the top off. I think I nailed with this attempt, I have more pics showing what I mean....

I agree. I've seen a few done but almost all of them have looked clumsy and lazy. I really like the look of this one. Great job! Please keep us posted.

I made a little more progress today.....hope to put the floor in soon

I have a couple of mangled 35 ford cabs that I thought of doing this to. Couldn't decide on how to clean up the windshield area. Looks like u nailed it by just taking it off and starting over![P

Back half

I have made some progress on the back half. I decided to try to make a model T look alike roadster.
