Got a little stuff done this week. Too busy with work to get back to it. I did fab up a an air scoop. Took a 11" wide chooper fender cut off out of the scrap pile, extended and squared the sides and added the decoration. It is a functioning scoop. Trying to come up a name to paint on the side. I came up with "hillbilly Injection" Im open for suggestions on that.

Hasnt gone as as fast as I thought it would but with work and riding the Harleys I guess I can use that as an excuse. Theres a local show here in about a month and im vowing it will be done. Interior is close. Tin work is pretty much done and the Hearse seats are in. Steering is pretty much complete. Completely re-worked the firewall. I like the riveted/airplane look. Bed frame is complete. Skin of bed will be the same tin and rivet look. Have to make up the bed rails also. Rear bumper is complete just need to mount. Added a couple pics.

I was looking at those first pics again. Put a number on the side of it and it would look like some kind of unknown dirt racer. Can't quite figure out what that scoop reminds me of. Cool though.

I really like the interior. That floor is in the weeds isn't it? Cool man!! Thanks for the updates.

Looks killer. We seem to be going for the same look. Funny huh? Like the interior sheetmetal. Going with the same tranny hump. I wouldnt try and hide the 4 bar with the bed going that low.Still think it looks killer. Love the SC

I like the fact that it's different, I noticed no rad. in the last pic you changing it? If you want to run a radiator up front you might try a old mustang rad. they are pretty small and cool real well.

Rad is in the back behind the tanks. I hate to hide the 4 bar too but I didnt like the no bed look. You will be able to see it if you look in the bed. Got to keep pluggin awa at it...

Well the Snubnose project is coming to an end. Still have some tweaking and the brakes pretty much suck but other than that ill be wrapping it up. Was fun to do but I dont think I would start from (4) pieces of 2 x 4 steel again. I think it would much easier to start with a complete truck. Anyway, heres a few more pics. Rear bumper is done just need to bolt it on. Im thinking the top may get choppd this winter....

RUST NEVER SLEEPS

Ok, snubnose is goin in for a haircut...Gonna take 5 inches out of the top...Looking at adding fenders(dont want to but also dont want to be harassed for not having,,,,what do you guys do without fenders? do you get harassed for not having...I like to use my stuff and want to drive all over and not get into a hassle with the fuzz) probably gonna add a hood and some sort of custom grill...Will post pics as I go..I added a photochopped version.

Ok hair cut is done...Was hoping to keep the roof as one and alter pillars as needed but that aint gonna work. Had to quarter the top and will start fitting it back together. Have to go to Asia for work so progress is gonna slow down. Will post more pics as i have them.

Well the truck is done...at least for now. I can always find something to change ut the majors are done. Comments always welcome!
