Nice stable. Guy that owns the Hobby Shop I part time at has a 87 928. Nice car, comfortable even for a guy my size. I have helped him do a little work to it. Not to bad as long as you can read German! Got to drive it a little couple weeks ago, handles pretty well. He was with me so I couldn't give it a true test. Most interesting thing I found out about them is that the car does not take off in 1st gear. It is always in second unless you double hit the car to full throttle? Strange to me.

Little know secret on the 928 auto. Shift to '2' and back to 'D' at standstill and then jump on the gas, it will take off in first like a scolded cat

Not sure I will ever get the opportunity to drive the car again, but if I do I will keep that tid bit of info in the back of my mind. Thanks!
