i've been at this guy's place before-in fact some parts of my 46 ford truck came from this guy...he used to not sell ANYTHING, but has parted with a few items in the last 10 years...
oldskool is "almost" kin to him, bein married into the family, and this is where his 56 "father and son project" came from

anyway, oldskool took me and my brother over there to look around again-and i remembered to take my camera (just don't tell the guy you saw his stuff on here or i might not ever get to go back!)

i know not all of this is project material, but to get the "feel" of the place i snapped a bit of everything, but not all of everything!:D

But the real shame is the waste. What is the point in having all this and just letting it rot away? Why doesn't someone try an intervention? This is truly a sin [S

Not only are there people who really want this stuff but many who need it.

And that is really true!..Hate to see yards of good cars going to waste....Even single cars sitting in yards that the owner is "going to fix it up someday"!!!:(..CR

I know where there is a stash of old gas pumps and petrol memorabilia in the Indianapolis area that is/was to die for sitting outside. Double gravity feed pumps, single gravity feed pumps, every pump imaginable, porcelain signs and much more. 2 years in a row while traveling through I wasted several days trying to get the guy to sell me part or all of it before it all became scrap metal. He wouldn't budge and now it's just mostly scrap.

well, there might be a chance some of it gets saved, but alot of it-and i mean alot- is from iowa, and shows severe rust-thru; there are a few "project-worthy"pieces, and i'll assure you someone is saving some of it, its just not an "open to the public" kinda place-if ya know what i mean;)

here's a few more to oogle over[P

i skipped afew pics b/c of them being for my own personal "reminders" of what i need for a project or two of my own...
here's the last of them-and i feel i saved the best for last, and can certainly assure you these are NOT FOR SALE--i know b/c i've tried-on more than one occasion to secure the super-old chevy (i think 33 is what he called it, but i don't know)
