Looks amazing! Not 100% sold on the hood, but close.

I won't be 100% untill I widen it at the rear and see how it will fit,but I like how wide it is at the nose because it gives me a start for a grill and like I said I am thinking along the lines of a coffin nose Cord.
Remember I had to widen the cowel when I moved it back to the rear doors and that made it kinda odd with a regular grill shell.
We will see soon enough, I have about 2 months off so I hope to get alot done in that time.[;)

i dig the hood.. i might rework the front of it a bit, but i think the overall look is really cool

The old frame went away today, no one wanted and I know I didn't need it take'n up space. Made a nice little pile:rolleyes:
The replacement is come'n along very nice[;)

So, here is the new/old frame, its cleaning up real nice.
The problem is it is to long and I need to Z the rear.
I am thinking about just cutting the section out to shorten it and then just put the old arched part back on but put it on top of the frame and then fish plate it togeather, it will give me the room I need for the rear with a triangleated 4 bar coil over.
What do ya'll think? safty factor?[S

Got a bit farther on it to day, joints all fish plated and started on the front end. I have a 4 bar tirangulated set up on the way, should be here in a few days. Got a great deal on E-bay. I can't wait to get it rolling again.[;)

Nice work man.....

Great job..... wish I could move ahead like you are.....just isn't in the cards I guess.... keep it up and you'll be on the road in no time....[cl[P

I have to get as much done as I can when I am home, its been a week worth of 10hr days so far.[;)
Got a call from the Boss today and I might not have much more time off.
Back on the road again and might not get back to it for months.

At least you have an excuse......

I look out at the barn when I get up and sometimes just don't have the drive to head out there before I get to work.... work 4 to midnight.... if I went to bed before 2 or 3 I'd probably have more time to work on it in the am... but..gotta unwind after work....
Keep up the work man.... I take it you work out of state alot.... that's gotta be a drag living in those no tell motels.....

Got my tri/4-bar Friday and spenr the week end stting it up.
Its just tacked on for now because I am also doing the front end so untill
its all on its tack time but its getting there.

Old and new.

Happy for your progress. Just one question though, isn't the motor set a little tooooo far toward the rear? Looks like not much room for a cockpit. I like your 6, got one myself. perley

who needs leg room...long as it HOOKS UP...LOL....all kidding aside...is the motor and trans in the spot they are going??? does seem a bit far to the rear....[S

I know it looks a little odd as though it would put a cramp on cocpit room
but it works, the fire wall is a little over a inch behind the motor.
You can see in this pic how short the cockpit is forward of the wheels.
Besides, midengine is cool,,, isn't it?

braces

l'd put some gussets on the motor mounts. the kind the use on roll cages. l think that would help streghten the mounting points.

like the way its lookin'.

Later
