Got the cab off finally. There was a nasty hole in the left running board where someone had drilled a few holes then beat a axe head through and made a holder for it......nasty nasty thing. cut it out made a patch and now I can ship the boards out for the rubber redo.

Got the frame stripped and painted and the rest of the body parts stripped and in epoxy primer. Now the body work can start.

Looking at those pictures, I think you will have the body work done by lunch time. Doesn't look like it needs much.

Not a lot but there is a bunch of dents. Got most of the ones above the belt line done today and put it in workable primer then got going on the rot in the aprons.

Got the Cab done inside and out. I have been working on the chassis at another shop and it is ready to roll. New brakes/lines and fuel line. All detailed ready for the cab so I figured I best get it done.

Ya, its way shiny, had to make it that way its how he wants it. I still have to buff it and make it worse.

Got the box in the Epoxy primer today. Man that chit is nasty!:eek:
finally got the new repop tail gate, what a POS. didn't fit for chit and was real flexible but after about 3hrs of F'ing around with it, it will work.
He paid $800.00 for the POS, ya just can't get good repops anymore.:rolleyes:

That tail gate is flexible so you can make it fit.:D

Way back in the 60's we'd get reproduction Model A parts made in Argentina and they were junk. So, it's nothing new.
 
Multi tasking today. Had to fix a rotten headlight bucket take care of a few dents and get a few parts in 1st primer.
