I got in one like that in Rome Italy on bike n sidecar with two guys and camping gear for a month. Yes we made out in one piece. Both teens (U.S.A F.)

We too in Italy, Naples, got into a similar situation but at a 4 way stop. I tell people stop and yield signs are more of a suggestion there. We pull up waiting for our "turn". Yea right. It was a free for all. People were going around me through the stop. Finally just basically closed my eyes and went for it. Tip, always get full coverage on a rental car in Italy. Very few cars I saw there were undamaged. Jim
