I was watching Barrett-Jackson a little bit. A nice clean low mile Bronco II sold for $12K, and minutes later a really nice but not as low mile convertible fox mustang sold for $7K. On Sunday, a completely redone 1986 2-door Cherokee that looked stock but had a 5.3 LS and a 4L60E sold for 30K.

I guess the 80's "junk" is getting to be in style.

Yes it definitely is, have you tried to buy a fox body mustang lately?

Made some progress tonight, I ended up having to take the link arms off of it and readjust them because they were out of whack. Testing springs and ride height in the front. I think I'm going to have to raise the back up a little bit. I don't want to cuz I really like the stance but it's going to have to go up to sit level

Couldn't sleep, too much going on in my mind. So I went to my happy place and created something!! This bronco is a mix between a kit for the long arm suspension and custom goodies. I built a track bar mount tonight. It's just tacked like all of this front end. I will cycle the front axle to make sure it all clears everything. With this long arm system they want a 6" lift. I'm trying to do it with a 3"! Not building a monster truck!! Hahaha

My trans shop guy is building an '88 Bronco dual turbo intercooled 302. Spent a recent Saturday installing the motor trans and then body onto the restored chassis he estimates this will be over 500HP...he does a lot of offroading

Damn, I was hoping you would say it was a 2wd drag car hahahaha. That sounds kinda cool!

Proof of concept!! It's sitting on its own weight!!!!

Build some shock/ spring hoops. It's far from finished but a big step forward! Lots of welding and bracing left to do!!

Fabricating is Fun!

Yes it is!!

I got the lower link mounts welded on fully along with the spring towers and the upper spring mounts. Braced those up and ordered some bolt together tube connectors. Once those show up I will built a brace over the engine that ties both sides together!!
