fuel tank

l had to figure out something different for the fuel tank, the round one was not going to fit where l wanted after we got to mocking things together.

my friend who owns a boat shop donated the oddly shaped one to cure the problem:D

l took a dead aluminum flashlight, cut it down to fit, kept the screw on end, put a motorcycle water hose clamp and some radiator hose to mate the flashlight made into a filler neck on the tank, works excellent.

headers

l had a friend bend up some 9O's in a a couple 2'' pipes to weld in between the headers and tires to fix the clearance issues.

we'll be assembling them when the body is done so we know where the exhaust pipes, frame and all that jazz to see what it is that we need to work around to have everything fit properly.

seems the more you do the more there is to do[S.

pipes

l had my friend bend some exhaust pipes to fit the curve of the chassis so the radiator can be mounted somewhere in the rear and the hoses ran to the front for the water pump.

l am going to run a electric fan to help cool. the fan has a plastic box to help channel the air.

that is the plan, hope it goes the way l am planning it out in my head.

Flashlight [cl[cl[cl
I installed a radiator behind the cab of an AD pickup and had to install an inline electric water pump to assist the manual pump. Worked great after that.
Hope this helps you if yours doesn't cool enough.

this thing is going to have an insane power to weight ratio [cl

old iron, where is the air coming from on that rad? is the back wall cut?

rear mounted

were putting a rollbar in the rear area/around the seats, then running the bars down to attach to the shock mounts we added. the plan is to build a 2X2 square tube type cage to fit in-between the rear bars, make mounting tabs and run electric fan or fans, l have 3 sets of electric fans to choose from.

l have a radiator that has both inlet/outlet on the same side to help simplify the hose routing.

pic is close to my vision.
