master cylinder went out and I couldn't stop and I was coming to the end of a dead end road, crashed and totaled it out earlier this summer

I wanted to drive my rhd uk spec mini again, so I got to work

firewall sheet metal is built back up

and I'm working on making braces for the inside to hold the pedal box to the roll cage

and I have installed the Honda steering column on to the mini's steering rack

I had to section the Honda steering column 4 inches

Wow. That's a heck of a lot of work. I applaud your work ethic. I also know what it's like to do side jobs for car money. That's where I am now.

today I deleted the srs aka air bag but I am keeping the wiring that goes to the steering column, clock spring, that has the horn and cruise control, witch also is the air bag wiring, I cut 3 wires out of the column plug, I cut them at 3 different sections and taped them off

I plan to get a aftermarket steering wheel next year when funds allow

my next step in wiring is to figure out where the battery will go, (probably in the back)
and wire up the battery and the alternator

and I put the under-hood fuse block upside down inside the shell

I still need to make a mount for the computer and then I can start building a dash for the car

no idea what I'm going to do for the dash yet

theirs a guy in England that makes a fuel level convertor, to use a Honda cluster with classic mini fuel sender unit, being that the ohms are way off
31GBP isn't bad but shipping and whatnot
but I have some friends over in the UK still

steering is in,

most of the dash is full of Honda wiring now

I got my hands on one of those plugs that twist to come apart, I plan to use for the wiring for the headlights since my front clip comes apart

I think it was 58 deg this morning when I jumped in my Honda pilot to go to work

been working on wiring, that's almost done
I need to wire up the headlights and tail lights and finish installing the main battery cable from the front to rear and make a rear battery mount
and I need to wire up the fuel pump and fuel level sender and install the fuel tank

I got the brake fluid level wired up, and conversion wiring from Honda wiper switch to mini wiper motor
cruise control is wired up

last night I started to work on my radiator mount

worked on wiring today and I got my throttle cable in the mail

the front clip wiring is done
I used 18 pins out of a 20 pin cannon plug

my throttle cable is from a gen 1 Honda odyssey van(95-98) f22 motor

I guess the cable bracket is in different spots on the intake manifold
because I need to ext mine out about 2.5-3 inches....no biggie

not bad overall, I paid 20 USD for the cable from rockauto
and from what I have seen online, they want 50 USD for rhd throttle cables
