yeah, it took about a week to hammer out a deal on the truck. he told me if i wasnt interested, somebody else wanted it, the truck is a great start, but it will need to be dissassembled completely and alot of things have to be done differently to make it a safe ride..the rear end being the biggest problem , but i got that covered..

well i got it dissassembled for the rebuild, took a little longer than i antisipated. heres a few pictures of what im starting with, hated to take it this far down, but alot of the welds were really questionable, didnt wanna take the chance. alot of the rear geometry of the frame was off quite a bit(see the picture of the old backhalf) so i broke out the recipro say and went to work, i think in the end ill be alot happier, im gonna build the back half this week...keep ya posted...:eek:

its up on all fours again, and i think im gonna like the way it sets better. i was really worried it wouldnt go together, i built the backhalf at our shop in louisville and took it home and welded it together. i think it turned out ok. still have a few more braces to put in, it was a very productive weekend.:)

Great build. I have a friend that used a c-4 front and rear in a 46 Chevy truck that will embaress most sports cars on a twisting mountain road. You will enjoy this.

Looks bad a@@. Wish i where there to sit and look at it with ya. That seems to be when i get most done. People aren't aware how much thought goes into these things.
