Life happens.....

OK, the truckster, or whatever it's now called, is making the car show rounds in California now, so I guess the first opportunity we will have to see it is at Goodguys here in Phoenix in two weeks.

All we have until then is a couple of poor quality cell phone shots that shows a little of it. Looks like it is now gloss black. If so they had a ton of body work to do, and it is something other than the rat rod I originally envisioned....although it departed from that path the day Dan took it over.

Yep...overdone with the black paint and seats. Lost much of it's appeal imho.

My plan all along was black and red - the upholstery matches the wheels, suspension links and steering link.

I haven't actually seen much other than a few fuzzy photos, but I like what they did with the bed. Other than the bed it seems like they pretty much stuck with my vision. Joe says they didn't redo any of the mechanicals and that it runs and drives well. That makes me feel pretty good.

The best part is that it is running and driving.

I'm really looking forward to seeing it at Goodguys!
