Hey guys new here just thought I'd share my truck and all the work that's went into it so far.
It's a 1945 dodge pickup 1/2 ton going on a 89 3/4 ton gmc chassis. So far I have braced the door jams and cut the floor out so I can build a sub floor frame. Wow its a lot of work lol.

Yep, that's what most of the check writers don't realize is how much work goes into one of these rides.
Looks like you're doing a good job!!!
I really like this pic. That's the way to create a life long pardner.

Lookin good so far! Keep up the momentum and you'll get there before you know it! Set up your passenger seat to hold a child seat for your copilot :) [P

Thanks it's a work in progress I'm working on mounting the cab right now.

Pretty much the same way that I did mine as well. Plus I has to contend with a X-member as well so I have a slight hump in mine.

Here's mine. Probably a little over engineered but it's nice a strong. I put a wood floor over it.

nice work man that's kind of what I'm going for I like the high-rise all the way across the drivetrain I think that's what I'm going to do

Thanks. I left the area over the trans open for access. The wood is bolted in so I can pull it all out as well. Pretty handy for later work/changes.

I can post some pics later if you want but it might be easier if you look through my Willys build. Link's in my signature. Seems like I did almost the same thing you are doing from a similar start point. My floor was rotted out and I needed to channel my cab to get it to sit right. It was my first build and I'm sure that some things could have been done better so keep that in mind :D

45r, one more advantage of WillyD's engineering is, you will have an easier time putting your floor covering in if the lines are straight. On my floor, I made a nice contoured tin transmission cover, but it was annoying to put the rubber floormat on nicely.
