'58 Mercury from Kentucky

Just wanted to say "hello" to all the local car guys. I bought this 'Merc about two weeks before I found out my wife was pregnant. My daughter is now almost 14mths. Guess how much work I've gotten done to the car?...lol

Currently I am trying to contract some guy to finish my car. Going to weld in some new floor plans, rocker panels, fix and tune engine, install some door poppers, then finish dropping the car. There a lot to be done, but there's no rush. It's a pretty solid project car.

Hello Frook and welcome to RRR from northern Alberta. I had a 4-door Merc for a parts car years ago. I took out the 430 MEL motor and eventually sold it to a guy who promptly died. Does yours have a 430 or a 383?
