Default wiring

0H joysville, wiring

got some wiring done and mocked in the dash.

l figured the fuse box just inside the passenger side tucked up by the heater box is easy to get to & still out of the way.

not sure what year of 1940's Mopar l pulled this heater out of.

l ended up using the black heater, nice thing is it bolts in the same place and it has defroster vents in the right place and the other didn't have them where they would work, 0H WEll, l'll stick it in something someday, not like l won't have another project.

You're getting a lot done on a little amount of time. It does look real good from the front.

Better slip some tires on the front there Skull. All that HP is liable to collapse those jack stands!

Default no VR00M

no VR00M but fire out the headers so it's got lots of spark. bonus it turns over with the key, so no jumping across the solenoid to get to try and start. we gotta play with the timing but almost 11PM so time to call it a night.

something l did not know, ford 9 INCH truck rear-ends takes a axle shaft almost a 1/8 of an inch bigger around than most car ones, l thought a nine was a nine.

we put in the 3.5O,s l pulled out of a 1967 truck, figuring 3rd member and the axles were the same, 0H well, live and learn, 2 hours putting it in & taking it back out.

the yoke on the 3.OO,s that was in the chassis was egg shaped. we just ended up fixing it by removing the egg shaped yoke and changing it out with a new one and resetting the tolerances.

trans line/cooler in, lines not as purty as D R's, but functional.

stuck a tire on to see how they fit, don't look too bad either.

Yep the ford truck nine inch is a 31 spline 5 on 5 lug pattern and the car nine is a 28 spline 4 1/2 on 4/12 lug pattern.
Hate it when that happens
