Big thanks

I want to thank you guys for the kind words on my project. It means alot to me to hear how other builders that I respect, give their opinons on my project.
I plan to run wire wheels and wide whites on all four corners. As far as making a wheel well to break up how flat it is there I plan to make a trim piece to give it some depth. I hope to do that today and post pics......again THANKS EVERYONE......!

Frame

Got busy working on my car again. I decided to use the old style rear spring set up with hair pins that I got from speedway.

Body

I layed the body on the frame to see how it was going to look, havent decided on the wheel base but it looks to be from around 107 to 110 inches should give the right look. I still have to figure on how im going to put a 454 in it.......

The roadster is looking great Busted! I saw your panhard bar question over on KB. I am no expert with transverse leaf rearends, but it seems to me that unless the trailing arms are triangulated, you will need some sort of locating bar; panhard, watts link etc. Keep on keepin' on, I look forward to your updates!

Hey Mike,
Thanks for your advice. I will have some more pics this weekend on my progress.

I've never run a panhard with traverse springs, either front or rear. The spring itself acts as a sideways movement limiter, if you have the shackles set up properly (45 degree angle). I can throw my car into a hard turn and it tracks right around with no frame shift.

I looked over your pictures and I think you will be fine the way it is.

I am amazed by the rear deck!!! Artwork! You're killing me with the smallish pics though - if you can, post up a couple huge pics of the bodywork, especially the rear curves.
