I spent a couple of hrs in the shop today.
Was able to bend around on the power steering lines enough to clear the bottom of the radiator and fan shroud. Not a problem now. Kinda hard to tell in the pics but it will never rub as long as I don't crunch some thing.

Then I got the condenser mounted in the grill. Just bent up some 18 ga steel for mounting brackets and painted black. It's a pretty tight area to put a condenser in. Still need to close in around the penetrations for the tubing and figure out how to get access to make the hose connections.
Going to need a couple of extension tubes to accomplish that feat behind the extended mounting flange for the over sized radiator. I know what I need, I just need to find a source, probably Classic Auto Air.

More manyana.

Life has been rough lately. I haven't been in the posting frame of mind but I have been getting some done on this.
People sick, people died, identity theft,
Insurance company, lawyers and on and on.
Hopefully I can get out of this funk and back in the groove.

A few pics. Got the tubes on the condenser and the front end on.

The over flow tank was in the way of the grill brace so I went around it. They both need to be there so.........

Then the bottom radiator hose had the same issue with the serpentine belt. Same solution. Just go around it.

Top radiator hose with an additional temp sending unit. I needed one for temp gauge, one for the fuel injection ecu, and one for the electric fan. What a PITA!

Yeah, sorry to hear about life not being so nice. Sometimes I find it relaxing to go out in the shop and beat your head against something metal. Truck is looking good by the way

Sorry to hear about all the hard times Pops. This world sure seems like a crazy place sometimes. I hope the truck can be a distraction for you.

Sorry to hear about the bad stuff. Seems to be a lot of that going around lately.

As always, nice work around on those problem areas.

Thanks for the good thoughts guys. We're gaining on the life issues. Or maybe we're accepting them and moving on.

A little more progress on the "tres portas" project.....

The problem with trying to keep the fire wall clean is all the electrical stuff has to go some where.
I mounted it on the drivers side fender then made a cover to hide it [mostly].

Getting close to seeing if this thing will start and run.
