Cool old big truck

Was driving out in the country last weekend spotted this big old boy.... cool old mack fire truck, cant say I have ever seen one like it had very cool lines and a very roomy cab... anyway thought you car guys might enjoy it as well





it was really in pretty good shape, sheet metal was all straight and every thing appeared to be in tact... but i have no details about it who owns it.. if its for sale... but let me tell you.. it was LONG

They just don't design things like that anymore. Cool lookin' truck.

Years ago in my area there use to be a few of them in operation. But then again they were built in my area. Have not seen one in years.

The city of Allentown were they were built had nothing but Macks and a few were that style. And almost all of the other fire department in the area had at least one Mack but time have changed.

Yep it is out your way, i was thinking something like that could make an awesome tow rig.. one where you could have the space to head west looking for your next project to drag back...

That would make an awesome toy hauler. I could see a 5.9 Cummins in that. Where is Pookie?

That's what I am thinking. A 5.9 in that thing would be like a four cylinder engine in a 3/4 ton truck.

Mind you a
4BT Cummins can be cranked up to 700+ hp......

it sits at was the Hinckley CO-OP, I drove by it this summer but didnt stop.
