anyone know where i can get a sucide front end that will work with what i got. do i have to narrow my front rails? thanks

Ask your questions in the frame section and you'll get faster replies. I didn't understand your first question, but look at plenty of other builds to get an idea of your Z options. Are you gonna keep your original frame or build from 2x3? And post pics of what you're dealing with.

you can use that truck front axle if with brackets in the original u bolt holes or brackets welded to the axle..there is alot on here including mine using that axle "RPM" on here sells the brackets..

Tim

If you are going to z the front keep a couple things in mind. If your going to run your front end out pass the frame your frame should already kick up a little all ready, cut the front off where it turns down for the front shackle. move your cab back to make up for cutting the frame. may have to shorten the bed. I did a z the hardway on a 79 f150 for my 51. on a flat rail a z is cake on a curved rail (what was I thinking).

ok cool thanks so can i keep the original fram rails? would i have to narrow the front to run the suiside front end?

Find tim ok's build to get idea

This bracket system works real well, was going to do something close to this on my 51 but just did not have the extra cash for the parts. You will have to do a little work on the front of the frame to get the spring system mounted but you shouldn't have to narrow the frame.

heres a few pics of what i got done on the roof. one of the first time useing a welder i just went for it!:D and whats do you guys think is the best way to get these back corners to stretch ti line up? and any pics of whats has been done. thanks:cool:
