working on it a little at a time.[;)
And before I forget, if the flames on the front look different than they did in the first images its because I went out there this morning and stared at them for a half hour or so [S and then just peeled them off. Just didnt flow like the oness on the back so I re-did them... Im happy with them now, just have to stare at it some more to find my happy place on the front fender.:D

looks good, how are ya painting the flames on? airbrush?

No painting, taking the flat black off with sandpaper and leaving the seafoam green, or primer or whatevers under it. Depending on what my pea brain says when Ive got the side done I may pinstripe around them, not sure yet, just kinda lettin it flow.:D

ahh i see

cool deal, kinda making the flames come from behind instead of laying them on top, good idea, i like it.

So the weather was nice today in northern Illinois. I got her out and got the drivers door done. The weather is supposed to be nice for the next couple days soooooooo...

Tape off the drivers side front fender and over the edge of the hood following the body line.

Yup shes still here. Had NO heat in the old garage, moved a new house in January, and she was covered with boxes for a while after the move...
Now that its nice out I will get a lot more done. Need to take the trans out and get it rebuilt... $1200 and that's me pulling it and bringing it to him...

So... After taping, pulling it off, taping, pulling it off, taping, pulling it of about 300 times I am happy with the front drivers fender.

Looks great! You really did well on the flow of the flames. Not sure you'll need scallops on the trunk.

I was thinking I'd like to try this sometime cause I really like the look. But then I remembered I hate sanding.
