Yes, it's a '53. Was used as a school bus in Illinois back in the day.

Not sure of the exact year, probably early 50's. Haven't found any info on it yet. It's a Maple Leaf and was used in a hunt camp for years.

Thanks, found some numbers online but don't know how accurate they are. Mine is a Master 85 and it said there were a little over 1400 produced and about 180 of the Deluxe models.

I have always had a fascination with taking an old bus like that, flat bedding the back half and making a camper/hauler out of it... of course only in my mind as a 13x22 garage won't fit a bus, not the 25ft driveway. Would love to see more if you get a chance.

pistolpete I'm just outside of Peterborough near Indian River. Yeah, that bus takes up some real estate all right. No plans for it yet, just didn't want to see it crushed.
