I've been meaning to post a rant about the discontinuation of Pontiac myself. Seems absurd. First Olds, now Pontiac!?!

Moment of silence for the company that brought us the beloved GTO, Firebird/TransAm, Grand Prix, Chieftan, and to a lesser degree the Grand Am, Bonneville and dare I say, Fiero...among many others.

It was just a matter of time, they killed olds in a lot better time than this and there is no distinction of brands except badging and minor body mods. Buick will be next as soon as the blue hairs that buy them all croak., Caddy will survive.

as a lover of many gm brands its sad! but maybe it will make mine worth more!!! i know what you think, but i didnt think that buying the pontiac at first was a good idea,, but now it migt have been a good move! guess we will see,, still its sad, cause i believe the car makers have lost touch with the public! to the last great years !!!!! the 70's was the beginning of the death of the american car!!! and pin head politicains are to blame!!!!!

Ain't much left of the Buick line either. What, two cars? Their SUV's are just rebadged Chevys. I have always had a soft spot for GM products.... I had many of all their models over the years. I still have my GS and my Fiero. The sad state of the economy and the direction our political parties both) have basically shot GM an Chrysler in the head. How far behind do you suppose Ford is? Sorry about the rant.. I'm still ****ed off from the Olds lineup drop a few years ago and now it's topped of by the Pontiac news

Wife didn't believe it when I told her. She's on her third or fourth Pontiac now. She just bought an '03 Gran Prix GT a couple of months ago. While we're talking Poncho, was there a proper name for the brightwork that ran down the hood and trunk of Pontiacs from the mid-thirties to the mid-fifties ?

well i sat down with my uncle yesterday for turkey day, and he said he took some pics of the LAST PONTIAC to ever roll off the assembly line

said it was an all white G6

i would think G.M. would want to go out with a bang like a kool vintage themed G.T.O. OR SOMETHING

Wow... now that really is strange. A G6... how exciting! It's SO easy to see why GM is such a big loser... management is & has been totally clueless!!! Sad!!!

it is sad to see what GM and others could/can not see......
the sad fact is that if the higher-ups don't figure it out they are all doomed...

anyway i just bought another "project" but not a rat, so i'll throw out a pic here......2008 grand prix 60k miles....possibly a "flip" or a new driver..we'll see
