chop i do mine in 4 parts. to me they look better. i dont like to lay the window back as it looks odd to me on that cab style. my 49 ford car on the other hand got the rear window layed down and the pillars back a pinch

faux i like the faux stuff if its done right. i have done a few for people and they turned out great. just gotta take your time and lot of arm power.

rat same here, just floors and mounts

paint paint stripper or laq thinner works great for me. never seen any thing they wouldnt take of. dont use the spray can stripper. use the can and a paint brush

brakes well, they were ok for their time, or maybe even a stock engine. but im running a 406 stroker way more engine than stock by about 300hp. and the single res master cylinder isnt super safe either. i would like to upgrade to some thing i can go to town and get if it breaks. the 49 stuff...

any one on here doing shoe boxes? need a brake upgrade but i dont want to cut the crap out of my frame. its crazy you can go to speedway or any where else and get brakes for any other car in the world but not a shoebox. anyway you go is a 1000 bucks. and i cant get the stock brakes to work...

stub i like to use a more modern stub. you can go right to the parts store and they have what you need in stock if it breaks. you dont have to hunt fords parts or order them...just my dimes worth
