    28 Fast Four build

I hear ya on that - winter is hard for us to get anything done on our project (we work in our patio). We have flooring ready to install, but spray glue is best used when it's warm outside! So, we have to wait until later in the spring.... until then, we did drive it to my company Christmas...

    1936 Diamond T with 6BT cummins

Thanks Abasham! I am not great at updating, but I do try when something major has been accomplished :)

    1937 Packard 115 coupe

This build is starting to give me flashbacks on our Diamond T cab build. Those door strikers look IDENTICAL to the Diamond T. Makes me wonder if the guides on the doors are the same too. Originally, the DT ones had little spring-loaded pieces on the striker, where those tabs are that stick...

    28 Fast Four build

I was thinking the same thing - we did ours very similar, only 'outboard' (and longer links I think)

    1936 Diamond T with 6BT cummins

We sold a couple things to finally buy the gears, master install kit, and solid pinion spacers for our 14-bolt. We got the rear out of an 83 GMC step van - and it was 5.13s and top speed at 2000rpm was 48mph in 5th gear. We got all the supplies in last week, but Brian's boss was taking him on a...

    1937 Packard 115 coupe

Ours does too Torchie. I never use it if I want a square cut unless it's smaller stuff. Can't wait for this build to come together. Looking great so far!

Us either! That was a HUGE ordeal do put steel structure in a wood-framed cab! Never again!!!

    1936 Diamond T with 6BT cummins

yes, we have the carrier for the 3.73s - we got it from a guy who updated his rear end on his gmc dually pickup (and he also works at Randy's Ring and Pinion, so he verified it is what we need). I think maybe he put posi in his? I can't remember, I was just excited to find the carrier locally...

    1937 Packard 115 coupe

Our 36 Diamond T was also FULL of wood (oak). All completely rotten. A-pillars, B-pillars, floor framing and floors, etc. At least the doors only had one small piece of wood in them (skin supports). What is weird is- we got a 37, same body style, for a parts truck and it had MINIMAL wood in...

    1936 Diamond T with 6BT cummins

OK, it's been too long since I have updated this, sorry. We did end up making cab mounts for the stacks. It was the least invasive looking. I think we might have to do a muffler, hoping I can eventually talk Brian into it - I think he is kinda leaning that way too though. He was a little...

    1936 Diamond T with 6BT cummins

yes, rubber on the mounts for sure. I do think a headache rack/cab guard is the way to go if we don't mount to the cab. Brian is worried about the drone caused by the exhaust. He drives a newer Western Star for work - and even the new trucks are noisy inside. He gets a brand new WS to drive...

    1936 Diamond T with 6BT cummins

sorry it's been so long since I have updated - we are still plugging away and getting really close to it being really road-worthy. We did take it around the block again yesterday and did have some minor tire rubbing when the springs went under compression on a corner. Normal driving on flat...

    1941 1/2 ton project Hannah

Looks great, must feel really good to be so close to finished! May I ask why you chose such a 'hot' fan relay?

    28 Fast Four build

we found on our Diamond T frame that the rivets were tapered. We had to grind the side with the bigger head off, then they would come out.

Skip's 39 Ford PU. How it happened

I have folded long steel in half a time or two to avoid the cutting cost too and 10' will fit inside the Suburban and on the roof rack of my Outback, hahaha. I call the Outback my truck because that thing can haul a lot for how little it is! The new 'chin' looks great!
