Its not a big deal. I have it made with six mounting tabs on each side of the frame. But I'm putting a full roll cage in it so I figured since the body can not be taken off weld it in too. All the strength I can get. Motor is putting out about 800 HP.

I am also going to put in a cage also so body will never be able to unbolt cause of the cage

What do most do around. Build the body to bolt on weld all to chassis.. I'm building a 31 Nash. With tube chassis. oh the drums gotta go. I am going to disassembly the front end just had it there to set it up. Gotta figure out what fits those spindles to convert it the easiest

nope i wish i did. i was building a mustang to run in the 275 drag radial class but got burnt out. guy came in made me a offer on the stang so it was gone. always wanted to build a ratrod so i thought this was my opportunity. i've built several bagged trucks and cars and also several mustangs...

Working on getting body to line up so I can brace it all off and build some supports in it. Hope I can then put the cage in it. Been a headache trying to get all the panels to line up I didn't have anything to go by.. but just eye view

what was the length of the coil overs you used

yes thats what I'm talking about. looks great. i am really leaning towards this setup

has anyone ever thrown around the idea of front coil overs instead of leafs. if you have any pics post them up. been thinking of using coil over shocks on the front of my project. just for the adjustablity. going to be dragracing this rat and love the idea of the adjustments of the coil overs.
