Good luck getting one of those tri-powers, only made one year and a arm and leg if find all the parts. But I have a 330 in my truck and I love Olds and I get alot of compliments for it because it is not a chevy.;)
I was cracking up. As I was sitting there with my friends '70 pro-street next to me. People would be walking up to us noticing his car first. And once they got closer they would turn real quick away from his car and be more interested in my ride more. Even though mine is not even as cool as any...
You know I took my car to its first show right after I got it running. It was a new small show. Once my friend and I saw the judges ( young teen age girls) we new we wouldn't win anything. But I got alot of people looking at it and even made some new friends talking all day.
Izzy is there a...
I like you master cylinder placement. Mind if I steal it? Also what did you use for a plunger to push the master cylinder and how is it kept in place?
Stephan
I had that set-up on my Cutlass. just a little warning it will stumble off the line unless you have a real loose torque convertor. All the tri carb cars from gm were all clutch cars and they needed the slip to getting the R's up quickly. but once they going they scream. Good luck with her. They...
Is that a 455 or a 400. If that is an original intake that is sweet and nice peice on there. Rare to have the Olds tri-power. Had one 10 years ago kick myself sometimes for getting rid of it.[cl
I am also interested in doing this set-up on my 47 Power Wagon also. I think I can fab mine up by looking at your pics. I have one question though on how you guys ran your line out to your distribution block. Is that under the dash or is it out side the firewall?
Thanks Stephan
That is a nice looking motor. I like that intake alot. I plan on putting in a '67 330 in my '47 Dodge Power Wagon. I do plan on using that same manifold also.

Thanks for all the warm welcomes. It is sure needed today, getting pounded with snow today. Here are a couple of pics I have, one of my Cutlass before I tore it apart and One of the Power Wagon.
I am alot farther than this pic I have it on the frame and the frame cut down. I am currently...
Hi my name is Stephan, I have a beautiful wife and 2 great little girls. I am currently working on a 1947 Power Wagon that I picked up for $100 (just the cab) I am suppose to be getting the title for it soon. I was given a complete 1986 D-150 that a friend of mine needs the body and gave me...
what you do is cit the pan and bend it down then trim it to fit around the push rods and with the threaded rods there should be 2 holes drilled and tapped in the lifter valley. You put the threaded rods down into those holes and then use the nuts and washers to space away from bottom. Using...
I am new here and just going through some post on Olds. I would try and find some C heads to put on your 455. They flow better and also will raise you compression some. Oldsmobiles makes all it compression it eh heads. The reason I say use the C heads is that B heads are off motors with...
