How does the axel work? any springs? Is it only an axel stub wielded to the frame on each side? Cool looking and neat idea.

I have only wired 1 truck 49 f-1 20 years ago. I did solder every connection and used heat shrink you cant have to many grounds. So far so good.

For years I used 1109 rod - it was what dad had in the shop then I went to the welding shop and found out it was 6011. that is a true story guys

Thinking back Boy I did that to mine 16-18 years ago. Just snug it up so you can fell it start to bind and back it off some and put in the cotter pin. that should work

You are making me think lol I have thought of using the V8-60 and build a 3 wheeler and looking at your pic's. & moving the radiator to the back I would be able to move the motor 9-10 in. forward. I'm thinking of a narrowed car rear-end & have 2 rear seats. The sound of a FH with stright pipes...
